NovelVerse respects the intellectual property rights of authors, publishers, and creators. We expect all content on our platform to respect those rights, and we respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on NovelVerse, please send a written notice to copyright@novelverse.app containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the URL or story title on NovelVerse.
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material you posted was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complaining party and may restore the removed content within 10-14 business days unless the copyright owner files a court action.
Repeat Infringers
NovelVerse reserves the right to terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
